As a child Jean watched his aunt mix things up in the kitchen. Meats,

sauces,vegetables and she even created her own seasonings & spices. Jean was born in Port Au Prince, Haiti, little did he know he would meet a beautiful young woman who would embrace his love for cooking. Together they would unite and eventually marry. Judy was born in Georgetown, Guyana but raised in Brooklyn, NY by her late mother Megan. She had no idea she would meet a handsome Haitian man who would become her husband & together Mathurin Caterers would be born. 

 

Their union has inspired many friends and family. The Love they share for cooking goes far beyond the dinner table. After you experience the Mathurin's cooking, your sure to come back for seconds. They share cultural memories and recipies which have been passed down in their families. Judy has a few recipies of her own passed on to her by her beloved mother Megan Ornellia. Jean & Judy are a team in all walks of life. Together they are living out their dreams & have created a business which will be passed on to their chidren & grandchildren.
